Product Identity

Railway Empire: France DLC (model 53091) is a downloadable strategy expansion published by Kalypso Media for PC. It requires the base game Railway Empire on Steam to play and activates through a Steam account. The content adds a new historical scenario covering 1874 to 1890, a France map for Free Game and Sandbox modes, ten historical engines, over twelve tradeable goods including wine and soft cheese, and thirty-one new cities.

Platform and Region Limits

The DLC uses Steam DRM and is blocked in a long list of countries including AF, BY, CF, CD, CU, IR, IQ, KP, LB, LY, MM, RU, SO, SD, SY, UA, VE, YE, ZW, SS, AR, AM, AZ, BS, BZ, BO, BR, CL, CN, CO, CR, EC, SV, GE, GT, GY, HN, KZ, KG, MD, NI, PA, PY, PE, SR, TJ, TR, TM, UY, UZ. Buyers in those regions cannot activate the code. PC and Linux system requirements are marked TBC by the publisher.

Pre-Purchase Checklist

Verify that you already own Railway Empire on Steam, because the DLC will not run without it. Confirm that your country is not on the blocked-region list, otherwise the Steam key cannot be redeemed. Ensure you have a working Steam account for activation and installation. Detailed minimum and recommended hardware specifications have not yet been published by the developer.
