Matchpoint Legends DLC for PC

The Kalypso Media 71873 downloadable content adds retired tennis professionals Tommy Haas and Tim Henman to Matchpoint - Tennis Championships on Steam. Both legends become playable in single-player career and multiplayer matches. A Steam account and the base game are required for activation and play. The product is delivered as an online code for PC.

Suits owners of the base game seeking historic

This DLC targets players who already own Matchpoint - Tennis Championships and want to compete as or against two specific Grand Slam finalists from the past. Buyers who do not own the base game cannot use this content. Players wanting expanded stadium rosters or new tournament structures should look elsewhere as this pack only adds the two named athletes.

Requires Steam and the base game on PC

The single specification that decides compatibility is the dependency on the Steam version of Matchpoint - Tennis Championships. Without the base title installed and a valid Steam account in an eligible region, the download code will not grant access to the legends Tommy Haas and Tim Henman. Region locks listed in the specifications also apply.

Questions about this item

How does the Steam DRM interface control activation of this DLC?

The product uses Steam DRM, so you redeem the online game code in the Steam client, which then attaches the Legends DLC to your Steam account and the base game Matchpoint - Tennis Championships.

What does the downloadable packaging require for storage and access?

As a downloadable game with no physical media, you only need an internet connection to download the DLC through Steam and sufficient drive space for the installed files.

How is the DLC installed, and what step do people often miss?

After redeeming the code in Steam, you must ensure the base game Matchpoint - Tennis Championships is installed first; the DLC will not appear playable until the base game is present and updated.
