25 ft active HDMI 2.0 cable

This 25 ft active HDMI cable connects a source such as a computer, distribution amplifier or extender to an HDMI display. It uses Spectra7 active transmission technology to deliver uncompressed 18Gbps bandwidth at 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 or HDR at 60Hz. The cable is CL3 rated for in-wall installation.

Bandwidth and distance limits

The cable supports the full HDMI 2.0 feature set including ARC and CEC up to 18Gbps. Uncompressed 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 or HDR at 60Hz is guaranteed over the 25 ft length. Runs beyond 50 ft would exceed the rated active transmission distance.

Directional installation notes

Active HDMI cables are directional; the source and display ends are marked and must be connected correctly. Reversing the connectors is the most common cause of no signal or intermittent video. Ensure the cable path avoids sharp bends that could damage the internal electronics.

Questions about this item

Which length should I pick for a run between floors?

The 25 ft version covers typical floor-to-floor runs; the same active design is also available up to 50 ft for longer paths.

What does 18Gbps mean for my 4K display?

It carries uncompressed 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour or HDR at 60 Hz without any loss of detail.

Is the HDMI 2.0 interface the bottleneck at this length?

No — the Spectra7 active transmission maintains the full 18Gbps bandwidth across the entire 25 ft, so the HDMI 2.0 link is not the limiting factor.
