Monitor stand with drawer

The Kantek MS420 is a height-adjustable monitor stand built for office workers who need to raise a screen or laptop to a comfortable viewing level. Its 17 x 13-1/4 inch platform supports up to 60 lb and suits larger laptops as well as monitors. The plastic frame keeps the footprint compact while freeing desk space underneath.

Removable drawer and cable management

A built-in drawer slides out to store paper, supplies and small accessories, then removes completely when not needed. Integrated cable routing channels keep power and video leads tidy, reducing clutter on the work surface. These features turn a simple riser into a small organisation hub for daily essentials.

Height range and fixed increments

The stand adjusts from 3 to 6-1/2 inches in 1-1/4 inch steps, so users cannot set arbitrary heights between those positions. Buyers who need continuous fine-tuning or a lower minimum height will find the fixed increments limiting. The single-level design also rules out dual-monitor stacking or separate keyboard tray placement.

Questions about this item

Does the removable drawer on the MS420 need any maintenance or replacement over time?

The drawer is a plastic component that lifts out for cleaning; no scheduled maintenance or replacement parts are specified by the manufacturer.

What is the maximum weight the 17 x 13-1/4 inch platform can support before it becomes the limiting factor?

The stand is rated to hold up to 60 lb on the extra-large platform, so that is the load limit under sustained use.

Will the plastic stand generate any noise or heat when a monitor and laptop sit on it all day?

The unit has no moving parts, fans or power supply, so it produces no operational noise or heat during continuous use.
