4W Solar Panel for Ring Cameras

This 4-watt panel is built for Ring Stick Up Cam Battery (2nd and 3rd Gen), Stick Up Cam Pro Battery, Spotlight Cam Plus Battery and Spotlight Cam Pro Battery. It includes a USB-C to barrel-plug adapter so the panel connects directly to the camera's charging port. The kit also supplies a 360-degree mounting bracket for flexible positioning on walls or eaves.

Capacity and daily headroom

Rated at 4W, the panel delivers enough energy to keep a compatible camera charged when it receives at least three hours of direct sunlight each day. Glass surface construction helps maintain output over time. Cloudy, rainy or snowy conditions reduce the charge rate, and cold temperatures can increase battery drain, so manual top-ups may be needed during prolonged overcast periods.

USB-C charging cable limits

The supplied 6.6 ft cable sets the maximum distance between the panel and the camera. The USB-C to barrel-plug adapter works only with devices that accept that specific connector, so cameras or gadgets with different charging ports cannot use this kit. Panel dimensions are 7.2 x 5.6 x .59 in and it weighs .323 kg.

Questions about this item

Will the 7.2 in by 5.6 in panel with its 6.6 ft cable reach a Ring Stick Up Cam mounted under a deep eave?

The 6.6 ft cable gives flexibility to route around overhangs; the compact 7.2 x 5.6 in panel fits tight soffits while the 360-degree mount lets you angle it past the eave for direct sun.

How can I confirm the 4 W panel is actually charging my Spotlight Cam Pro Battery after installation?

Open the Ring app and check the device health page — it shows a solar icon and the current charge percentage rising when the panel receives at least three hours of direct sunlight.

Does the box include the USB-C to barrel adapter needed for a Stick Up Cam 3rd Gen, or must I buy it separately?

The package contains the 4 W panel with 6.6 ft cable, a 360-degree mounting bracket, and the USB-C to barrel plug adapter — everything required for compatible Ring models.
