Three-battery kit for Canon Speedlite

This Kastar kit supplies three 7.2 V lithium-ion batteries and a matching AC wall charger. Each cell delivers 2600 mAh or 18.72 Wh and replaces the Canon LP-EL and 4307C002 packs. The set suits photographers who rely on the Canon Speedlite EL-5 or EL-1 flash units and want spare power on hand.

Foldable-plug charger covers 100-240 V

The included charger accepts AC 100 to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz and outputs DC 8.4 V at 600 mA. Its foldable flat pins make it compact for travel bags. A red LED shows charging while green signals standby or full charge. No extra cables or proprietary docks are required to replenish all three batteries.

Low heat and silent operation

The charger runs cool and produces no audible fan noise during typical recharge cycles. Li-ion chemistry keeps self-discharge low so stored packs hold energy between shoots. Power draw stays modest on any standard mains circuit worldwide.

Questions about this item

How long can the 2600 mAh cells run my Speedlite EL-5 before they need a recharge?

Each LP-EL cell stores 2600 mAh at 7.2 V; real-world flash count depends on power level and recycle speed, so expect fewer full-power pops than at lower output.

Does the wall charger get hot or noisy when it runs all day topping up three packs?

The AC adapter draws 100–240 V at 50–60 Hz and delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA with only an LED indicator; no fan is present, so heat and noise stay minimal.

Which flash units work straight away with these batteries and the included charger?

The kit replaces Canon LP-EL and 4307C002 cells and fits the Canon LC-EL charger, powering Speedlite EL-1 (4571C002), EL-5 and any E-TTL or E-TTL II flash that accepts LP-EL packs.
