Four-pack lithium-ion batteries

This set includes four 7.4 V 2600 mAh lithium-ion cells and an LTD2 charger that powers two batteries at once. The charger accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V and delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA per slot. An LCD panel shows charge status and remaining capacity for each cell.

Photographers using listed Canon EOS, PowerShot.

The bundle replaces BP-511, BP-511A and several related packs for the cameras named in the compatibility list. It will not suit owners of cameras that require a different battery form factor or voltage, nor users who need a charger with mains AC input instead of USB.

Steady output during extended shoots

Each cell stores 19.24 Wh and the charger maintains a constant 800 mA current per bay whether one or two batteries are fitted. The LCD readout lets you monitor progress without interrupting the cycle, so the pack stays ready for long sessions rather than quick top-ups.

Questions about this item

Does the charger need a separate power brick, or can I run it from a USB-C PD source I already own?

The LTD2 charger takes 5 V at 2–3 A via Micro-USB or USB-C, so any 15 W USB-PD adapter or power bank with a USB-C port will run it.

Will the BP-511A cells charge correctly in my original Canon CG-580 charger if I keep it as a backup?

Yes — the Kastar BP-511A batteries are direct replacements for Canon BP-511/BP-511A packs and work in the Canon CG-580 and CB-5L chargers.

How do I confirm each 2600 mAh battery is charging properly on the LTD2?

The LCD shows real-time capacity percentage and an 800 mA charge current per slot; when it reads 100 % the cell is full.
