The Kastar AC wall charger powers Canon BP-511, BP-511A, BP-512 and BP-512A packs used in EOS DSLRs and ZR-series camcorders. It accepts 100 to 240 volt input for worldwide travel use. A foldable flat plug keeps the unit compact in a kit bag.

Cooling and power behaviour

The charger delivers 4.2 volts at 600 milliamps with no fan, so it runs silently on a desk or nightstand. An LED shows red while charging and turns green when the cell reaches full capacity. Low heat output means it can stay plugged in between sessions.
