Kastar BL-5B Smart LCD Charger

The Kastar BL-5B is a compact AC wall charger designed to replenish BL-5B lithium-ion batteries. It accepts a universal 100-240V input and delivers a 4.2V 600mA output. A foldable flat plug allows the unit to sit flush against the outlet for easier storage and transport. LED indicators show red while charging and green when the battery is full or the charger is idle.

For owners of listed cameras, keyboards and radios

This charger suits owners of the specific VJIANGER, Saneen, Avantree, Minox, Rollei, Vivitar, Praktica, SVP, Jazz, Tecsun, Topblue, Yashica and X3 devices named in the compatibility list. It will not work with batteries or devices that require a different voltage, current or physical contact layout. Buyers who need to charge multiple cells simultaneously or who use battery types other than BL-5B should look at a different solution.

Single-specification decider: BL-5B battery

The only specification that determines whether this unit is the correct part is whether the device uses a BL-5B lithium-ion cell. If the equipment takes that exact battery model, the charger matches the required 4.2V 600mA profile. If the device uses any other cell chemistry, form factor or voltage, this charger cannot be used.

Questions about this item

Does the Kastar BL-5B charger plug directly into a wall socket?

Yes, it has a foldable flat plug that connects straight to an AC 100–240 V 50–60 Hz outlet without a separate cable.

Which LED colour tells me the BL-5B battery is fully charged?

A green light means standby or full charge; a red light means charging is still in progress.

When should I replace the BL-5B battery instead of recharging it again?

Replace the battery when it no longer holds a useful charge after a full 4.2 V 600 mA cycle on this charger.
