Compact AC charger for BP-244 batteries

The Kastar MX990 plugs directly into a wall outlet and charges compatible lithium-ion BP-244 packs used in a range of handheld radios. Its foldable flat pins make it easy to pack for field work or travel. No battery is included in the pack.

Charges one pack at 4.2 V 600 mA

Input accepts 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz for worldwide mains compatibility. The single bay delivers a steady 600 mA current until the cell reaches 4.2 V, then switches to standby. A red LED shows charging; green shows full or standby.

Foldable flat plug for tight spaces

The prongs fold flush against the body so the unit slides into a kit bag or vehicle console without snagging. Buyers needing to charge multiple packs simultaneously or requiring a desktop cradle with extra bays should look elsewhere.
