Smart LCD charger for compatible camera batteries

The Kastar BL-5B is a dedicated AC wall charger designed to recharge Li-Ion batteries used in select Blaupunkt, Callstel, Prestigio and ECHO devices. It suits owners of the listed models who need a replacement or spare charging unit.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The charger accepts a universal AC input of 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz and delivers a DC output of 4.2 volts at 600 milliamps. An LED shows red while charging and green when the battery reaches full charge or sits in standby.

Build fit and what it frees up

A foldable flat plug allows the unit to lie flush against a wall outlet or pack tightly in a bag without snagging. Measuring three by two by one inches, it occupies minimal space and removes the need to carry a bulkier original power supply for the supported cameras and speakers.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Kastar BL-5B charger and what is the common mistake?

Plug the foldable flat pins into a 100-240V AC outlet, then insert the compatible battery; the step often missed is confirming the battery part number matches TM533443 1S1P before charging.

What maintenance or replacement will the Kastar BL-5B charger need later?

The charger itself has no user-serviceable parts; replacement is only needed if the LED indicators fail to show red for charging or green for standby and full-charge status.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Kastar BL-5B charger?

The 600mA output current limits the charge rate, so extended sessions are constrained by this fixed DC 4.2V 600mA specification rather than thermal throttling.
