Questions about this item

Does the Kastar BP-70A come with batteries or cables so I can start charging immediately?

The package contains one charger unit and a USB Type-C cable; batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the Micro-USB or USB-C input to get the fastest charge for four Samsung BP-70A batteries?

Both inputs accept 5 V 2–3 A; the charger delivers 800 mA per slot for one or two batteries and 500 mA per slot when three or four are inserted.

What does the 4.2 V 800 mA output mean for real-world charging time of a depleted BP-70A cell?

At 800 mA a single BP-70A battery reaches full charge in roughly two to three hours; charging four together drops each slot to 500 mA, extending the cycle.
