Quadruple charger for Canon NB-4L batteries

This Kastar charger accepts up to four Canon NB-4L or NB-4LH batteries simultaneously. It draws power through either Micro-USB or USB Type-C inputs at five volts and two to three amps. An integrated display shows the charging status and remaining capacity for each slot. The unit measures 3.5 by 2 by 2.5 inches and ships with a Type-C cable.

Plug in and swap plates

Installation requires only connecting the supplied cable to a suitable USB power source and inserting the batteries. The charger automatically detects the number of cells and adjusts the current to 800 milliamps for one or two batteries and 500 milliamps for three or four. No driver or software setup is involved. The only common issue is using an under-powered USB port, which can lengthen charge times.

For multi-battery Canon shooters

Photographers who carry several compatible PowerShot or IXUS models benefit from charging all spares at once. The interchangeable plate design also allows future adaptation to other battery types. Users with only a single battery or those needing mains-only charging should consider simpler single-slot alternatives.
