Ready-to-use replacement battery

The Kastar BP-718 is a 3.7 V lithium-ion cell rated at 1900 mAh and 7.1 Wh. It ships new in a single-unit pack and fits the original battery compartment without modification.

Voltage and chemistry match

The cell delivers the 3.7 V nominal voltage and lithium-ion chemistry required by the listed Canon VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders. Built-in protection guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating.

Extended recording sessions

The 1900 mAh capacity supports longer continuous shooting than lower-rated packs. Users needing multi-hour events or back-to-back shoots should carry a spare, as a single cell will eventually deplete.
