High-capacity replacement battery

The Kastar BP-727 is a lithium-ion cell rated at 3.7 V and 3200 mAh, delivering 11.84 Wh. It replaces Canon BP-727, BP-718 and BP-709 packs and fits a long list of VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders.

For owners of supported Canon models

Videographers using any listed HF or LEGRIA camcorder gain longer run-time and built-in protection against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating. Users whose cameras require a different battery form factor or voltage should look elsewhere.

Drops into existing charger and body

The pack works with the Canon CG-700 charger already in your kit, so no new charging hardware is needed. Its compact 3 by 2 by 1 inch profile leaves the camera’s balance and handling unchanged while freeing you from frequent battery swaps during extended shoots.
