Compatible Camcorder Power Kit

This bundle supplies three BP-727 lithium-ion batteries and a dual-slot LTD2 charger for Canon VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders. It suits owners of models from the HF R30 through HF R800 and HF M36 through HF M306 series who need extended recording time. The pack replaces Canon BP-708, BP-709, BP-718 and BP-727 cells and works with the CG-700 charger.

USB Charging Limits

The charger draws 5 V at up to 3 A (15 W) from either a Micro-USB or USB-C source and delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA per slot when two batteries are inserted. Only two cells charge simultaneously, so the third must wait its turn. No AC adapter is included, so a suitable USB power supply must be provided separately.

Build and Daily Use

Each cell stores 11.84 Wh (3200 mAh at 3.7 V) in a lithium-ion pack. The charger features an LCD that shows charge status and capacity for both bays, and its swappable plate design allows future compatibility with other battery types. A Micro-USB cable is supplied; the USB-C port requires the user’s own cable.
