Three-battery kit for Sony Alpha cameras

This kit supplies three lithium-ion NP-FZ100 batteries and a folding-plug AC wall charger. Each cell delivers 7.2V and 2280mAh for a total energy rating of 16.4Wh. The package targets photographers who need multiple spares for long shooting days with compatible Sony Alpha, A7, A9, A1, FX3 or FX30 bodies.

Sustained power delivery

The charger accepts 100–240V AC input and provides a steady 8.4V at 600mA DC output to each battery slot. LED indicators show red while charging and green once a cell reaches full capacity or stands by. This constant-current approach avoids the rapid voltage drop seen in quick-charge bursts, keeping cell temperature stable across the full cycle.

Simple drop-in installation

Batteries slide into the camera or vertical grip exactly like the original Sony NP-FZ100 units, and the fold-flat plug lets the charger sit flush against a wall outlet or power strip. The only common issue is forgetting to seat a battery fully so the red charging light never appears; a firm click and a quick LED check prevents an unexpected dead pack on location.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Kastar NP-FZ100 charger draw when running all day?

The charger accepts AC 100~240V at 50~60Hz and outputs DC 8.4V at 600mA, so its maximum continuous draw is modest and it stays cool during extended use.

What must I already own for the Kastar NP-FZ100 kit to work with my camera?

You need a Sony camera or grip that takes the NP-FZ100 battery — such as the A7 III, A7 IV, A7R III, A7R IV, A7R V, A9, A9 II, A1, A6600, FX3, FX30 or VG-C3EM grip — and a standard wall socket.

Will the Kastar NP-FZ100 batteries behave the same as my original Sony NP-FZ100 cells in older bodies like the A7 III or A9?

Each battery is a 7.2V 2280mAh Li-Ion cell rated at 16.4 Wh, matching the original NP-FZ100 specification, so capacity, voltage and communication with the camera are identical.
