What this product is and who it is for

A lithium-ion battery and matching AC wall charger built to power compatible Canon VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders. The pack supplies one 3200mAh cell rated at 3.7V and a charger that accepts 100 to 240V input for worldwide use. It suits videographers who need a spare or replacement power source for the listed camera models. Buyers whose camcorder uses a different battery form factor cannot use this kit.

Build quality and daily handling

The charger features a foldable flat plug that lies flush against the wall outlet and packs easily into a gear bag. An LED shows red while charging and turns green when the cell reaches full charge or stands by. The battery stores 11.84Wh of energy in a compact 3 by 2 by 2 inch profile. Users who require a charger with a fixed angled plug or a multi-bay dock will not find those features here.

The specification that decides fit

Compatibility is limited to the exact Canon BP-727, BP-718 and BP-709 battery series and the CG-700 charger series listed in the manufacturer data. The charger outputs 4.2V at 600mA, matching the electrical requirements of those cells. If your camcorder model does not appear in the supported list, this combination will not fit or charge correctly.
