Questions about this item

Does the Kastar BP-727 charger include a battery or only the AC wall unit?

The pack contains one AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. No battery is included; compatible Canon BP-727, BP-718 or BP-709 batteries are sold separately.

Which Canon battery models does this charger support?

It charges Canon BP-727, BP-718 and BP-709 lithium-ion batteries, covering the original CG-700 charger function for all listed VIXIA and LEGRIA camcorders.

What does the 600 mA output mean for charge time on a typical BP-727 pack?

The charger delivers 4.2 V at 600 mA, so a standard BP-727 battery takes several hours to reach full charge; the LED turns green when charging is complete.
