What the pack contains

The Kastar BP-808 kit includes four lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.4V and 1500mAh each, plus a single quadruple charger. The set is designed for photographers and videographers who use Canon camcorders compatible with the BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 series batteries.

Installing and charging the batteries

Insert each battery into one of the four slots on the charger; the unit can charge up to four packs simultaneously. The intelligent display shows charging status and capacity level for each cell. Power the charger through either the Micro-USB or Type-C input using a 5V 2-3A source; output is 8.4V at 800mA for one or two batteries and 500mA when three or four are loaded.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your camcorder accepts Canon BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 type batteries, as the pack is built to those form factors. Ensure you have a USB power adapter capable of supplying 5V at 2-3A for full charging speed. The charger ships with a Type-C cable, so no separate lead is required for that port.
