Kastar BP-808 wall charger for Canon camcorders

The Kastar BP-808 is an AC wall charger built for Canon BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 and BP-827 lithium-ion batteries. It suits owners of compatible VIXIA, XA10, HF and FS series camcorders who need a direct mains charging option without the original Canon CG-800 unit.

Operates on 100-240V mains at 50-60Hz

The charger accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 hertz and delivers a fixed DC output of 4.2 volts at 600 milliamps. This specification limits use to the listed Canon BP-series packs; it cannot charge higher-capacity or different-chemistry cells and offers no selectable current or voltage settings.

Foldable flat plug and LED status lights

A foldable flat pin allows the unit to lie flush against a wall outlet or power strip, reducing bulk in a kit bag. A red LED shows active charging while a green LED signals standby or a completed charge, giving a clear visual cue without needing to check the camera menu.
