What the kit includes

This kit contains one lithium-ion battery rated at 7.4 volts and 2050 milliampere-hours plus an AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. The battery stores 15.2 watt-hours of energy. The charger accepts 100 to 240 volts AC at 50 to 60 hertz and delivers 8.4 volts DC at 600 milliamps. A red LED shows charging and a green LED shows standby or full charge.

The battery replaces Canon BP-820 and BP-828 packs and works with the CG-800 charger. Compatible camcorders include the XA10, XA11, XA15, XA20, XA25, XA30, XA35, XA40, XA45, XA50, XA55, XA60, XA65, XA70 and XA75. Charging behaviour and heat

During a normal charge the wall adapter runs from standard mains voltage and supplies a modest 600 milliamp current, so it stays cool to the touch.
