Compact AC Charger for Canon BP Series

The Kastar BP-930G is a dedicated AC wall charger built for Canon BP-series lithium-ion batteries. It suits videographers and event shooters who need a lightweight mains-powered option to keep spare packs ready between takes. The foldable flat plug makes it easy to slip into a gear bag without snagging on cables or other accessories.

Broad Battery Compatibility

This unit charges every Canon BP model listed from BP-925 through BP-975, covering the full range used in Optura, Ultura, Vistura, XF, XH, XL and XM camcorders. It delivers a fixed 8.4 V at 600 mA output, so larger-capacity packs such as the BP-970G will take longer to reach full charge than smaller cells. The charger ships without a battery, so users must supply their own compatible packs.

Simple LED Status Indicator

A single bi-colour LED shows charge state: red while the pack is charging and green once it reaches full capacity or sits in standby. There is no display for voltage, current or remaining time, so operators who need precise health data will have to rely on the camera’s own battery meter instead.

Questions about this item

Will the Kastar BP-930G charge my older Canon BP-925 and BP-930 batteries without issues?

Yes, the charger supports the full BP-925 through BP-975 range, so your existing BP-925 and BP-930 packs will charge normally.

How do I know the charger is working correctly once I plug it in?

The LED shows red while charging and switches to green when the battery reaches full charge or is on standby.

Does the package include a battery or only the charger unit?

Only the charger is supplied; no battery is included and the foldable flat plug connects directly to an AC outlet.
