Compatible Canon camcorders and batteries

The Kastar BP-930G LTD2 USB charger powers two Canon BP-series batteries simultaneously. It accepts BP-925, BP-930, BP-935, BP-945, BP-950, BP-955, BP-950G Pro, BP-970, BP-970G, BP-975 and BP-980G Pro cells. The unit works with a wide range of Canon camcorders including GL1, GL2, MV series, Optura, XF series, XL series and XH series models. Photographers and videographers who own multiple compatible batteries can keep both charging at once.

Replaces single-bay chargers

This dual-bay unit removes the need to charge batteries one after another or carry several single chargers. Swappable plates let you adapt the charger to different Canon battery form factors without buying separate docks. The jump is worth it when you regularly deplete two or more packs on a shoot and need both ready for the next session. It does not suit users who only ever carry one battery or who require simultaneous charging of three or more packs.

Sustained charging with LCD status feedback

Under continuous use the charger delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA per bay whether one or two batteries are inserted. The intelligent LCD shows real-time capacity and charging state for each slot so you can monitor progress at a glance. Power is drawn through either Micro-USB or USB-C at 5 V 2-3 A up to 15 W, allowing operation from common power banks or wall adapters. The compact 5 by 3 by 1 inch enclosure stays cool during extended charging cycles.

Questions about this item

What are the physical dimensions of the BP-930G LTD2 charger?

The charger measures 5 by 3 by 1 inch, making it compact enough to fit in most camera bags or gear cases.

How do I connect power to the charger and what is the common mistake?

Use either the Micro-USB or Type-C input with a 5 V 2-3 A source; the included Micro-USB cable works, but a Type-C cable is not supplied and must be provided separately.

Which Canon battery models can this charger handle over time?

It accepts BP-925, BP-930, BP-935, BP-945, BP-950, BP-955, BP-950G Pro, BP-970, BP-970G, BP-975 and BP-980G Pro batteries, so future replacements from that range will still charge.
