Dual USB charger for Canon BP-930 series

The Kastar BP-930G LTD2 accepts two Canon BP-930 or BP-935 batteries and charges them simultaneously. It draws 5 V at 2–3 A through either a Micro-USB or USB-C port, so it can run from a standard power bank or wall adapter. Videographers using compatible Canon XF, XH, XL or Cinema EOS bodies can keep both packs topped up without a dedicated AC dock.

Sustained charging at 8.4 V 800 mA per slot

Each bay delivers a steady 800 mA whether one or two batteries are inserted, so the second pack does not slow the first. The LCD shows real-time capacity for each cell, letting the operator judge remaining run-time during long shoots. Because the input is limited to 15 W, the unit stays cool even when both channels run continuously for hours.

Interchangeable plate design with compact footprint

The charger measures 5 by 3 by 1 inches and weighs little enough to slip into a gear bag. Plates can be swapped to support other Canon BP-series packs from the BP-925 up to the BP-980G Pro, so one chassis covers multiple camera generations. Micro-USB and USB-C inputs are both present, and a Micro-USB cable is included, removing the need to hunt for a specific wall wart on location.

Questions about this item

Does the dual charger run hot or make noise when both bays charge Canon BP-930 packs all day?

The unit draws 5 V at up to 3 A for a 15 W input and delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA per bay; it has no fan, so heat and audible noise stay minimal during continuous use.

What cable or power brick must I already own to run the charger from a wall outlet?

The charger accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V 2–3 A; any standard USB power adapter or hub that can supply 15 W will work, and a Micro-USB cable is included.

Can I charge an older Canon BP-925 alongside a newer BP-970G in the two bays at the same time?

Yes — the interchangeable plates support the full BP-925, BP-930, BP-935, BP-945, BP-950, BP-955, BP-970, BP-970G, BP-975 and BP-980G Pro range, so mixed-generation pairs charge together.
