Dual USB Charger for Panasonic DMW-BLK22 Batteries

This Kastar charger powers two DMW-BLK22 lithium-ion batteries simultaneously. It suits photographers using Lumix DC-S5 or DC-S5KK cameras who want a compact spare or replacement for the original DMW-BTC15 unit. The LCD screen shows charge level and status for each slot.

Check Your Battery Model and USB Power Source

Verify you own genuine Panasonic DMW-BLK22 cells; other packs will not fit the charging plates. The unit draws 5 V at 2–3 A (15 W) from either a Micro-USB or USB-C port, so confirm your power bank, wall adapter or laptop port can supply that current. A Micro-USB cable is included; a USB-C cable is not.

Replaces the Stock DMW-BTC15

The charger replaces Panasonic’s single-bay DMW-BTC15, letting you replenish two batteries at once from any 5 V USB source. The upgrade is worthwhile when you regularly shoot long sessions, travel light and rely on USB power banks, or simply want a backup charger that shows remaining capacity on its built-in LCD.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy the DMW-BLK22 batteries separately?

The package includes one dual charger unit and a Micro-USB cable; the Panasonic DMW-BLK22 lithium-ion batteries are not included and must be purchased separately.

Which charger version should I choose for the Lumix DC-S5 or DC-S5KK?

This model (part number CH-LTD2-0B-BLK22) is built for the Panasonic DMW-BLK22 battery used in the Lumix DC-S5 and DC-S5KK, so select this version for those cameras.

What does the 800 mA output mean when I charge two batteries at once?

Each bay delivers 800 mA simultaneously, so two DMW-BLK22 packs charge at the same rate instead of sharing a single current.
