Replacement for Nikon EN-EL11 and Olympus Li-60B

The Kastar EN-EL11 is a lithium-ion camera battery rated at 3.7V and 1100mAh, delivering 4.07 Wh of energy. It replaces original packs such as the Nikon EN-EL11, Olympus Li-60B, Pentax D-LI78, Ricoh DB-80 and Sanyo DB-L70. The single-cell pack fits compact digital cameras including the Nikon Coolpix S550, S560, Olympus FE-370, Pentax Optio L50, M50, M60, S1, V20, W60, W80, Ricoh R50 and Sanyo Xacti DMX-E10, VPC-E10. It is not for cameras that require a different voltage or form factor.

Steady output with built-in protection circuits

The cell chemistry provides consistent voltage through a full shooting session rather than a brief burst, and the integrated circuit guards against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current and over-heating. The pack meets UL1642 and CE safety standards, so thermal behaviour remains predictable during extended use. It works with original chargers such as the Nikon MH-64, Olympus Li-60C, Pentax D-BC78, Ricoh BJ-8 and Sanyo DB-L70. It is not for applications that demand higher capacity than 1100mAh.

Direct drop-in install with no tools required

Installation is a simple battery-door swap: power off the camera, remove the old pack, insert the Kastar unit observing the polarity marks, and close the door. The physical dimensions match the OEM pack, so no forcing or shimming is needed. The most common issue is a dirty contact strip on the camera side, which can prevent charging or cause intermittent power; cleaning the contacts with a dry cloth usually resolves it. It is not for devices that use a proprietary latch or a different pin layout.
