Kastar LI-50B 4-Battery Pack & Quad USB Charger

This kit supplies four lithium-ion replacement cells and a single charger that can fill all four at once. It targets owners of Casio Exilim, Ricoh CX, Kodak PixPro and GE cameras that accept the listed battery models. The cells deliver 3.7 V and 1800 mAh each, matching the original specifications. Photographers who need a ready set of spares for a day of shooting will find the pack convenient.

Quadruple USB charger with swappable plates

The charger accepts both Micro-USB and USB Type-C input at 5 V 2-3 A and includes a Type-C cable. It charges one or two batteries at 800 mA and three or four at 500 mA per slot, with an intelligent display showing status and capacity. Interchangeable plates let the same unit handle different battery form factors, reducing the number of chargers a traveller must carry. Users who only ever charge one cell at a time will not benefit from the parallel slots.

Simple drop-in charging with plate alignment

Installation consists of selecting the correct plate, seating each battery in its slot and connecting the charger to a USB power source. The main difficulty is matching the plate to the exact battery variant; an incorrect plate prevents contact and the cell will not charge. The compact 3.5 by 2 by 2.5 inch footprint fits in a camera bag, but the unit has no built-in AC prongs so a separate USB power adapter is required. Builders who need a second charger for a different battery family must buy an additional plate set.

Questions about this item

How long will each 1800mAh Li-Ion battery hold a charge before it needs replacing?

The 6.66 Wh lithium-ion cells are rated for hundreds of charge cycles; typical life is several years of regular use before capacity drops noticeably.

What limits how many batteries I can charge at full speed on the quad charger?

The charger delivers 800 mA to one or two batteries but drops to 500 mA each when three or four are inserted simultaneously.

Does the charger get hot or noisy when all four slots are used all day?

The compact USB charger runs silently with no fan; it may feel warm during extended four-bay charging but stays within normal operating temperature.
