This Kastar charger powers Olympus Li-90B and Li-92B cells used in Stylus and Tough cameras. It accepts 100 to 240 volt input at 50 or 60 Hz and delivers 4.2 volts at 600 mA. A foldable flat plug makes it easy to pack for travel.

Replaces Olympus LI-90C and UC-90 Chargers

The unit substitutes for the original Olympus LI-90C and UC-90 chargers across a wide range of Stylus and Tough models. The upgrade is worth it when the original charger is lost or damaged and a compact spare with a folding plug is preferred.

Fits Directly into a Wall Outlet

The charger plugs straight into mains power with no separate cable required. LED indicators show red while charging and green when the battery is full or on standby. It is not for users who need to charge multiple batteries simultaneously or who require a car adapter.

Questions about this item

Will the foldable flat plug on the Kastar LI-90B charger fit a standard UK wall socket?

The charger has a foldable flat plug designed for US-style sockets; you will need a UK travel adapter to use it on a standard UK wall outlet.

What is the correct way to insert the Olympus Li-90B battery so the charger starts, and what mistake should I avoid?

Align the battery contacts with the charger slots and slide it in until it clicks; forcing it backwards will prevent the red charging light from appearing.

When should I replace the Kastar LI-90B charger itself rather than just the battery?

Replace the charger if the LED stays green immediately on insertion, shows no light at all, or the output drops below the rated 4.2 V 600 mA during charging.
