What this kit provides

The Kastar LP-E17H pack contains three 1450mAh lithium-ion batteries and an LTD2 USB dual charger. It replaces Canon LP-E17 and 9967B02 cells for a long list of EOS Rebel, EOS M and EOS R mirrorless bodies as well as BG-E18 grips. Each cell delivers 10.44 Wh at 7.2V.

What to confirm first

Check that your camera uses an LP-E17 type cell and that you do not rely on the original Canon LC-E17 or LC-E17E charger, because this kit is not compatible with those units. The charger accepts 5V 2-3A input through Micro-USB or Type-C ports and ships with a Micro USB cable.

Sustained charging behaviour

The intelligent LCD charger powers two batteries simultaneously at 4.2V 800mA each. When both slots are occupied the 15W input limit is shared, so charge current per cell remains at 800mA rather than tapering after an initial burst.
