Dual-bay charger for Canon LP-E6 series

The Kastar LP-E6 LTD2 charges two LP-E6, LP-E6N or LP-E6NH batteries simultaneously. It accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V 2–3 A and delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA per bay. An LCD panel shows charge status and remaining capacity for each cell. No batteries are included in the pack.

Swappable plates extend compatibility

The charger uses interchangeable plates so the same unit can serve Canon LP-E6 series cells as well as batteries for Marshall and IKAN on-camera monitors. Plates for Canon BG-E6 through BG-E22 grips are supported, letting one charger cover camera bodies, cinema cameras and monitor power packs.

Two-bay output caps continuous charging at 800 mA

With both bays occupied the charger maintains 800 mA to each battery, so a depleted pair reaches full capacity in roughly the same time as a single cell. The 15 W input limit means total current is shared; adding a third battery would require a second charger.

Questions about this item

What does the 800 mA output mean when I put two Canon LP-E6NH packs in this charger?

Each slot delivers 800 mA at 4.2 V, so both batteries charge at the same rate simultaneously.

How do the Micro-USB and Type-C inputs limit charging speed in practice?

The charger draws up to 5 V 3 A (15 W) from either port, which is enough to sustain dual 800 mA output.

What does the 5 x 3 x 1 inch footprint require for mounting or placement?

It sits flat on any desk or bag surface; no brackets or screw holes are needed.
