Dual-bay USB charger for Canon LP-E6 series

The Kastar LP-E6 LTD2 charges two Canon LP-E6, LP-E6N or LP-E6NH batteries at once. It accepts power from any 5 V 2-3 A USB source through Micro-USB or USB-C. Photographers who carry spare packs for long shoots can top both cells without a wall adapter.

Flexible power input and LCD status

Micro-USB and USB-C ports let the unit run from power banks, laptop ports or car chargers. An integrated LCD shows real-time capacity for each bay while charging at 4.2 V 800 mA per slot. The interchangeable plate design allows future support for other battery types.

Two-bay capacity with 800 mA per channel

Simultaneous charging at 800 mA per bay restores a pair of depleted packs in a single session. Output drops to the same 800 mA per slot when both bays are occupied, so total current stays within the 15 W input limit. Users needing faster single-bay rates or more than two concurrent charges will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

What charging current does the Kastar LP-E6 LTD2 provide per slot?

The charger outputs 4.2 V at 800 mA per slot whether one or two batteries are inserted.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce during extended charging sessions?

The compact charger has no fan and runs silently; it warms slightly but stays comfortable to touch even after hours of continuous use.

Which power sources can I use to run the charger?

It accepts 5 V 2–3 A through either the Micro-USB or USB-C port; a Micro-USB cable is included, so any USB charger or power bank rated for at least 10 W will work.
