USB dual charger for Canon BP-511 batteries

The Kastar LTD2 charges up to two Canon BP-511 or BP-511A packs simultaneously. It accepts Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V and delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA per slot. Photographers and videographers using older EOS or Optura bodies can replenish both batteries from a single power bank or wall adapter.

Limited to 5 V USB power sources

The unit draws a maximum of 15 W from any 5 V 2–3 A USB port, so charge speed is capped by the USB supply rather than by the charger itself. It cannot be powered from 12 V DC sockets or dedicated camera AC adapters. Users needing faster top-ups or mains-only operation will find the USB bottleneck restrictive.

Interchangeable plates with LCD status

Swappable plates let the same chassis handle other Canon BP-series packs beyond the BP-511 family. An integrated LCD shows real-time capacity and charging state for each slot. The compact 5 x 3 x 1 inch frame fits easily in a gear bag, and the included Micro-USB cable covers the most common power-bank connection.
