Dual-slot charger for Sony NP-FV series

The Kastar LTD2 is a USB dual charger that accepts two NP-FV type batteries at once. It replaces the original Sony BC-TRV, BC-VH1 and AC-VQH10 chargers and works with NP-FV30 through NP-FV100 packs. Power comes from any 5 V 2-3 A USB source via Micro-USB or USB-C. An LCD panel shows charge status and capacity for each slot.

Videographers using listed Handycam models

This unit suits owners of the Sony Handycam and FDR-AX models listed in the compatibility data who need to charge two packs simultaneously. It is not for users whose cameras require a different battery form factor or who need a charger with an integrated AC plug.

8.4 V 800 mA per slot output

Each bay delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA whether one or two batteries are inserted. The charger draws up to 15 W from the USB input. If your workflow demands a higher charge current or a different output voltage, this model will not meet that requirement.
