Kastar NB-4L Battery and Quad Charger

This set includes one 1500mAh 3.7V lithium-ion battery rated at 5.6 Wh and a compact charger that accepts Micro-USB or Type-C input. It powers compatible Canon PowerShot and IXUS models such as the SD30, SD40, SD200 and ELPH 100 HS. The charger comes with a Type-C cable.

Quadruple Charger Sustained Operation

The intelligent charger handles four batteries simultaneously with adaptive current: 800mA for one or two cells and 500mA each for three or four cells. Status LEDs show individual capacity during the cycle. Input draws up to 15W at 5V 2-3A from any standard USB power source.

Replaces Canon NB-4L and CB-2LV

This bundle substitutes the original Canon NB-4L or NB-4LH battery and CB-2LV charger for cameras like the IXUS 40, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 IS and VIXIA mini. The jump is worth it when you need to charge multiple spares at once or want a single USB-C cable for travel.

Questions about this item

Does the charger get hot or draw much power when charging four batteries all day?

The charger runs from a 5 V 2–3 A 15 W input and delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA for one or two batteries or 500 mA for three or four, so total power stays within that 15 W limit.

What cable or adapter do I already need to run the charger?

The unit has Micro-USB and USB-C inputs and a USB-C cable is included, so any 5 V USB charger or port rated at 2–3 A will work.

Will the included NB-4L battery fit the Canon PowerShot SD400 I still use?

Yes — the battery replaces Canon NB-4L and NB-4LH packs, which the SD400 uses.
