Three batteries and a four-bay charger

The kit supplies three lithium-ion NP-BD1 cells rated at 3.7 V and 1100 mAh each, plus a compact charger that can replenish four packs simultaneously through Micro-USB or Type-C input.

Capacity per cell is 4.07 Wh

This energy figure determines how many shots or minutes of video a single battery can deliver in the compatible Cyber-shot models listed; if your shooting sessions regularly exceed that reserve you will need additional packs.

Charger shows status and swaps plates

The intelligent display reports charge level for every bay, and the plate can be exchanged to fit other Sony D-type cells, but the supplied Type-C cable is the only wired connection included.

Questions about this item

How long will the 4.07 Wh batteries actually run my Cyber-shot DSC-TX1?

Each 3.7 V 1100 mAh cell delivers 4.07 Wh, so a fully charged pack powers the camera for roughly the same shooting time as the original Sony NP-BD1.

What charging speed does the USB-C and Micro-USB input actually provide?

The 5 V 2-3 A 15 W input feeds the charger, which then outputs 4.2 V at 800 mA for one or two batteries and 500 mA when three or four are charging together.

Will the charger block fit on a crowded power strip alongside other adapters?

The compact unit measures 3.5 by 2 by 2.5 inches, leaving enough clearance for adjacent sockets on most standard strips.
