Kastar NP-BD1 Quadruple USB Charger
The Kastar NP-BD1 is a quadruple USB charger designed for Sony Cyber-shot cameras using NP-BD1 or NP-FD1 batteries. It powers up to four cells simultaneously from a single 5V 2-3A source. Micro-USB and USB-C inputs give flexible connection options, and a Type-C cable is included. An intelligent display shows charging status and battery capacity for each slot.
Suits owners of listed Sony Cyber-shot models
Photographers carrying several spare batteries for the DSC-T90, T200, T300, T500, T700 or T900 will benefit from charging four at once. The charger also supports older models such as the DSC-T2, T70, T75, T77 and TX1. Users who need to charge only one or two batteries at a time, or who prefer a dedicated AC mains charger, should consider a simpler single-bay unit.
5V 2-3A input with 4.2V per-bay output
The charger draws 15W maximum from any 5V 2-3A USB power source. Each bay delivers 4.2V at 800mA when one or two batteries are inserted, dropping to 500mA per bay when three or four are charging. This input requirement is the key specification: a lower-rated USB port will not sustain full current across all four slots.

Questions about this item
How much heat or noise does the charger produce when running all day at 15 W input?
The unit draws 15 W from 5 V 2-3 A and charges four NP-BD1 cells at 4.2 V with 800 mA for one or two slots and 500 mA for three or four slots, so heat stays low and there is no fan.
Which cables or power adapters must I already own to use the Micro-USB or Type-C inputs?
A 5 V 2-3 A USB power adapter is required; a Type-C cable is included, but a Micro-USB cable is not supplied.
Will this charger work with the older Sony BC-CSD or BC-CS3 chargers I still have for my DSC-T90 and DSC-T200?
It replaces those chargers entirely — it charges the same NP-BD1 and NP-FD1 batteries used in the DSC-T90, DSC-T200, DSC-T300, DSC-T500, DSC-T700 and DSC-T900.
