Kastar NP-FT1 Quadruple Charger
The Kastar NP-FT1 is a compact USB charger that accepts up to four Sony NP-FT1 type batteries simultaneously. It draws 5 V at 2–3 A through either a Micro-USB or USB-C port and ships with a USB-C cable. An intelligent display shows charging status and remaining capacity for each slot. The unit measures 3.5 by 2 by 2.5 inches and uses no-memory lithium-ion chemistry.
Suits owners of listed Cyber-shot models.
Photographers using Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1, T3, T5, T9, T10, T11 or T33 cameras can charge four NP-FT1 packs at once. The charger also matches Sony BC-CS3 and BC-TR1 chargers and works with DSC-L1 and DSC-M series bodies that share the same battery. Users with cameras that require different battery form factors or higher voltage packs cannot use this device.
4.2 V 800 mA per slot for one or two batteries
Output is 4.2 V at 800 mA when one or two batteries are inserted, dropping to 500 mA per slot when three or four are charging. This current profile determines how quickly depleted NP-FT1 cells reach full capacity. Buyers should verify that their packs accept this charge rate before purchasing.

Questions about this item
Does the Kastar NP-FT1 charger need a separate power adapter, or can I run it from my existing USB-C power bank?
The charger accepts 5 V 2–3 A through its USB-C or Micro-USB ports, so any USB-C power bank or wall adapter that can supply 15 W will run it without a dedicated brick.
Will the NP-FT1 charge my original Sony NP-FT1 packs at the same speed as the Sony BC-CS3 charger?
It delivers 4.2 V at 800 mA for one or two batteries and 500 mA when three or four are inserted, matching the voltage of the BC-CS3 while splitting current across the extra slots.
How do I know each battery is actually charging and not just sitting in the slot?
The built-in display shows individual charging status and capacity for every bay, so you can confirm each NP-FT1 cell is receiving power and track its progress.
