Dual-Bay USB Charger for NP-F Series

The Kastar NP-F550/F570 LTD2 accepts two NP-F style batteries at once, letting videographers and event photographers top up spares while shooting. It draws 5 V at 2–3 A from any USB power source, so a wall adapter, power bank or laptop port all work without a dedicated AC brick. Swappable plates extend compatibility across the NP-F330 through NP-F970 range. The unit ships with a Micro-USB cable and includes both Micro-USB and USB-C input ports.

LCD Status Display and Interchangeable Plates

An integrated LCD shows real-time voltage and capacity percentage for each bay, removing guesswork about remaining charge. Output is fixed at 8.4 V and 800 mA per slot whether one or two batteries are inserted, so charge time stays predictable. The plate-swap mechanism means the same chassis can serve future battery formats without buying a new charger body. A single Micro-USB cable is bundled; no AC adapter or Type-C cable is included.

Limits of 5 V USB Input and Fixed Current

Because the charger is limited to 15 W input, it cannot fast-charge high-capacity NP-F970 cells at their maximum rate. Simultaneous dual-bay charging splits the available current, extending total recharge time compared with single-bay use. The 800 mA output per bay is non-adjustable, so older or heavily degraded cells that require lower trickle current are not officially supported. Users needing AC-only operation or variable current must look elsewhere.
