Dual USB charger for Sony NP-FZ100

This Kastar charger powers two NP-FZ100 batteries simultaneously via Micro-USB or USB-C input. It is designed for photographers using Sony Alpha series cameras such as the A7 III, A7 IV, A7R IV, A9 II and A1 who need a compact way to keep spare cells ready.

Two-bay charging with 800 mA per slot

Each bay delivers 8.4 V at 800 mA whether one or two batteries are inserted, so a pair of depleted packs charges in parallel without current sharing. The 15 W input limit means charging slows if the USB source cannot supply 2 A to 3 A at 5 V.

LCD status display and low heat

An integrated LCD shows real-time capacity percentage for each battery during the cycle. The charger runs cool and silent in normal use, drawing up to 15 W from a standard USB power adapter or power bank.

Questions about this item

Will the Kastar NP-FZ100 charger work with the Sony BC-QZ1 and NPA-MQZ1K chargers I already own?

This Kastar charger replaces the Sony BC-QZ1 and NPA-MQZ1K units; it charges two NP-FZ100 batteries at once via Micro-USB or USB-C input at 5 V 2–3 A.

How do I confirm the charger is operating correctly once I plug it in?

The built-in LCD shows real-time charging status and battery capacity for each slot, so you can verify both batteries are charging at 8.4 V 800 mA.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else to start charging?

The package includes one dual charger and a Micro-USB cable; you must supply a 5 V 2–3 A USB power adapter and your Sony NP-FZ100 batteries.
