Ready-to-shoot power kit

This pack supplies four lithium-ion batteries and a compact AC wall charger for Sony Handycam models that use the NP-FF50 series. Each cell delivers 7.2 volts and 900 milliampere-hours, giving 6.48 watt-hours of capacity. The bundle suits videographers who need several spares for long events or travel shoots without carrying a bulky charging station.

Charger input and output limits

The wall unit accepts 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz, so it works on mains power worldwide without a voltage converter. Its foldable flat plug keeps the profile slim for tight bags or crowded power strips. Output is fixed at 8.4 volts and 600 milliamps, and a red LED shows charging while green signals standby or full charge.

Replaces single OEM cells and slow chargers

Swapping a lone original battery for this four-pack removes the need to stop and recharge mid-session. The jump is worth it when a shoot runs longer than one cell lasts or when a lost charger would otherwise halt production. It does not serve cameras that require higher-capacity NP-FF70 series packs or models outside the listed compatibility range.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the four-battery pack or a smaller pack?

This listing includes four 7.2 V 900 mAh lithium-ion batteries plus one AC wall charger; no smaller pack is offered in this product.

What does the 900 mAh rating mean for recording time in my camcorder?

Each 6.48 Wh battery supplies 7.2 V at 900 mAh, giving roughly the same run-time as the original Sony NP-FF50 in compatible Handycam models.

What does the charger’s 8.4 V 600 mA output mean for charge speed?

The wall charger delivers 8.4 V at 600 mA, so each 900 mAh cell takes about one and a half hours to reach full charge from empty.
