Two-pack NP-FF70 batteries with dual USB charger

The kit includes two lithium-ion batteries rated at 7.2 V and 1800 mAh each, plus an LTD2 charger that powers both cells simultaneously. It is intended for owners of compatible Sony Handycam models who need spare power for extended shooting sessions.

Plug the charger into any 5 V USB source

Micro-USB and USB-C inputs accept common phone chargers or power banks at up to 15 W. The LCD shows individual capacity and status for each slot. A frequent issue is using a weak 1 A adapter, which slows the 800 mA per-bay output and lengthens charge time.

Confirm your camcorder uses NP-FF70

The supplied batteries replace Sony NP-FF50, NP-FF51, NP-FF70 and NP-FF71 packs. Check the label inside the battery compartment before ordering; models outside the listed DCR-IP, DCR-PC and DCR-HC series will not fit.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the charger is working correctly after I plug it in?

The intelligent LED display shows charging status and battery capacity for each slot so you can see both batteries charging at 800 mA each.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The pack includes one LTD2 dual charger and two NP-FF70 7.2 V 1800 mAh batteries; a Micro-USB cable is supplied but a 5 V 2-3 A USB power adapter is not included.

Which battery version should I choose for my Sony DCR-PC109E?

The NP-FF70 / NP-FF71 / NP-FF71S cells in this kit are listed as compatible with the DCR-PC109E, so this 2-pack is the correct version.
