Check model compatibility first

The batteries fit a long list of Sony camcorders including DCR-SX60, HDR-CX100, HDR-CX105, HDR-CX106, HDR-CX11, HDR-CX12, HDR-CX500, HDR-CX505, HDR-CX520, HDR-CX6, HDR-CX7, HDR-HC28 and HDR-HC3. Verify your device uses the NP-FH series before ordering.

Videographers who need spare power for the supported Handycam and Cyber-shot units will benefit. Users whose cameras require a different battery form factor or voltage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What comes in the pack and do I need a separate cable for the charger?

The pack contains one AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug and three NP-FH50 lithium-ion batteries. The charger plugs directly into a mains socket so no extra cable is required.

The listing shows NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50, NP-FH70 and NP-FH100 — which capacity should I choose?

This pack supplies the NP-FH50 version rated at 7.4 V and 1200 mAh (8.88 Wh). Choose this capacity when your camera or camcorder specifies NP-FH50; the other model numbers are listed only to show wider compatibility.

The charger output is 8.4 V 600 mA — what does that mean for real charging time?

At 600 mA the charger delivers roughly half the battery’s 1200 mAh capacity per hour, so a fully depleted NP-FH50 takes about two hours to reach the green standby light.
