Kastar NP-FH50 3-Pack Battery & Charger

This set includes three 7.4 V 1200 mAh lithium-ion batteries and an AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. It replaces Sony NP-FH30, NP-FH40, NP-FH50 and NP-FH70 packs for Handycam and Cyber-shot models. The charger accepts 100–240 V input for worldwide use.

Installation and common issues

The charger plugs directly into a mains socket and shows a red LED while charging and green when complete. Each battery slots into the camera compartment like the original pack. No firmware update or pairing step is required. A loose battery contact or a worn camera latch can prevent charging.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Ideal for owners of compatible Sony DCR-SR, DCR-DVD, DCR-HC, Cyber-shot DSC-HX and Alpha DSLR-A cameras who need spare power for long shoots. Not suited for users whose cameras require a higher-capacity pack such as the NP-FH100 or a different voltage. Buyers needing USB-C charging should consider other options.
