The Kastar NP-FH50 LTD2 is a USB-powered charger designed for Sony NP-FH series batteries used in Handycam and Cyber-shot models. It accepts two batteries simultaneously and swaps charging plates for different pack sizes. The unit draws power from any 5 V 2–3 A USB source through Micro-USB or USB-C inputs.

USB 5 V 2–3 A input limits charge rate

The charger requires a USB port or adapter that can deliver 5 V at 2–3 A (15 W) to reach its rated 8.4 V 800 mA per slot. Lower-output ports will still operate but extend the charging time for each battery. Both Micro-USB and Type-C inputs share the same power budget, so total current remains capped at the source limit.
