Replacement battery and charger kit

This kit supplies two 17 Wh lithium-ion batteries and an AC wall charger with a foldable flat plug. It replaces Sony NP-FM50 cells and works with the BC-VM50 charger series. The charger accepts 100–240 V input and shows red while charging and green when full.

Suits owners of listed Handycam

Videographers using the DCR-DVD100, DCR-DVD101, DCR-DVD200, DCR-DVD201, DCR-DVD300, DCR-DVD301, DCR-DVD91, DCR-HC14, DCR-HC15, DCR-HC88, DCR-PC6 or DCR-PC8 can swap batteries without removing the charger from the bag. Buyers who need higher capacity cells or a multi-bay charger should look elsewhere.

Two 2300 mAh packs give extended recording time

Each 7.4 V battery delivers 17 Wh, enough for long sessions with the compatible camcorders. The single-bay charger replenishes one pack at 600 mA, so a depleted pair requires sequential charging. Users planning continuous all-day shoots may want additional batteries.
