Check your camera model and charger compatibility

Verify that your body appears in the supported list before ordering. Confirm the original battery is labelled NP-FM500 or NP-FM500H so the physical dimensions and contacts align. Ensure your existing charger is the BC-VM10 or AC-SQ950 if you plan to use it instead of the supplied unit. No other specifications require validation.

Questions about this item

Does the included BC-VM10 charger work with my existing Sony AC-SQ950 power supply?

Yes, the BC-VM10 charger is compatible with the Sony AC-SQ950 adapter, so you can reuse your current power supply to charge these batteries.

Will these 7.4 V 2400 mAh Li-Ion packs operate correctly in my older Sony DSLR-A200 body?

The batteries are listed as compatible with the DSLR-A200 and other Alpha models from 200 through 900, so they will work in that camera.

How can I confirm the over-charge and over-heating protection circuits are active after the first charge?

The charger LED will indicate a completed charge cycle, and the battery should remain cool to the touch, showing the built-in safety circuits are functioning.
