The Kastar NP-FR1 is a compact AC wall charger built for Sony NP-FR1 lithium-ion batteries used in Cyber-Shot DSC series cameras. It accepts 100 to 240 volt mains input at 50 or 60 hertz and delivers a regulated 4.2 volt 600 milliamp output. A foldable flat plug makes it easy to pack for travel or studio use.

Fits Sony Cyber-Shot DSC models

This charger replaces the Sony BC-CS3 and BC-CSD units and works with cameras including the DSC-P100, P120, P150, P200, T30, T50, V3, F88, G1 and their regional variants. The foldable pins reduce bulk in a gear bag and the unit needs only a standard wall outlet. No additional cables or power bricks are required to charge a compatible NP-FR1 cell.

Charges one NP-FR1 battery at a time

The 600 milliamp output provides a steady trickle charge for a single NP-FR1 pack; a red LED shows charging and green indicates standby or full charge. It does not support simultaneous charging of multiple batteries or higher-capacity packs beyond the NP-FR1.
