Kastar NP-FZ100 AC Wall Charger

This Kastar AC wall charger powers Sony NP-FZ100 lithium-ion batteries. It suits photographers and videographers using Sony Alpha or Cinema Line cameras who need a compact mains charger for home or studio use.

Foldable flat plug for 100-240V mains

The foldable flat plug accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz, so it works on mains supplies worldwide without a separate adapter. Output is fixed at DC 8.4V 600mA, which limits charging speed compared with higher-current docks. The charger only handles NP-FZ100 cells; it cannot charge other battery types or power the camera directly.

Simple plug-in operation with LED status

Plug the unit into a wall socket, insert the battery, and the red LED shows charging while green indicates standby or full charge. No buttons or menus are involved. The fixed 600mA output means a depleted cell takes several hours, and the charger has no discharge, refresh or multi-bay functions.

Questions about this item

Which Kastar charger version matches my Sony NP-FZ100 battery?

This charger is built for the NP-FZ100 and replaces the Sony BC-QZ1 or NPA-MQZ1K, so it fits every camera that uses that battery.

What does the 8.4 V 600 mA output mean when I plug it in?

It delivers a steady 8.4 volts at up to 600 milliamps, charging one NP-FZ100 from empty to the green light without needing a separate power brick.

How does the 100–240 V AC input work worldwide?

The foldable flat plug accepts any mains voltage from 100 to 240 volts at 50 or 60 Hz, so you can use it abroad with only a passive plug adapter.
