Kastar NP-FZ100 AC Wall Charger

This Kastar AC wall charger is built for photographers and videographers who need a compact replacement to power Sony NP-FZ100 batteries. It accepts a wide 100 to 240 volt input for worldwide use and includes a foldable flat plug for simple storage in a gear bag.

600 mA DC 8.4 V output spec

The charger delivers a fixed 8.4 volt DC output at 600 milliamps, matching the original Sony BC-QZ1 rate. This single figure tells you whether the unit will charge your NP-FZ100 cells at the expected speed or if a higher-current alternative is required.

Foldable plug and LED status

The foldable flat pins retract flush so the charger slides into tight pockets without snagging. A red LED shows active charging and a green LED signals standby or full charge, giving clear feedback without a display.

Questions about this item

What does the 600 mA output mean for charging my NP-FZ100 battery?

The charger delivers 600 mA at 8.4 V, so a depleted NP-FZ100 will take several hours to reach full charge; the green LED shows when it is done.

What does the 100–240 V 50–60 Hz input cover in practice?

It accepts mains voltage worldwide without a separate transformer, so you can plug it into any standard wall socket from 100 V to 240 V at 50 or 60 Hz.

How much space does the 3×2×1 inch charger with foldable flat plug need in a bag?

It measures roughly 3 by 2 by 1 inches and the pins fold flat, so it slips into a small pocket or camera-bag compartment.
